Finished its working life in Norway and left the rot in a forest. Imported into the UK about 20 years ago in a poor state. After a year of grinding rust and painting + replacing  parts, two trips to the DVLA for a reg number and last all was good. It has been shown at home and in normandy for about eighteen years.

Following service in the far east it was acquired by a sugar plantation in Queensland NSW and used as a “Railcar” towing sugar cane. Subsequently used by a pastor in Toowoomba to visit his parishioners in the outback.  Purchased and imported by me from a collector in Melbourne 11 years ago.  It is now a reliable jeep retaining its original engine, 6 volt system and other original predominately ford parts.
