| 3 | Yamaha RD125DX | 1977 | YGC 361S | 124cc | 17hp | J. Grange, Glos. | Fri/Sat/Sun |
| This motorcycle was purchased on E-bay in 2019 because it was like one I used to own in 1977, I became only its 3rd owner! After purchase I discovered a number of ‘shortcuts’ that were made during its restoration which necessitated an engine fuel system rebuild, fuel tank, front mudguard, main stand and steering yoke replacements, plus a complete respray the rebuild to full road worthiness.
I had this bike before I had the opportunity to own my original RD125DX… one day I might sell it, but not yet 🙂 ! |

| 295 | Francis Barnett Blackhawk | 1931 | VXS 507 | 147cc | 21hp | M. Wells, Wilts. | Fri/Sat/Sun |
| Brought the bike in September from Cirencester auto jumble as a project. I have been looking for a Francis Barnett for a while as my Grandad had Francis Barnett’s. Although I have a few more modern motorbikes, including a bobber/cafe racer, that I built myself, I wanted a vintage bike in my Grandad’s memory. The bike will be running and riding by the time the steam rally comes around. The bike is in great condition for it’s age and is a good example of a vintage bike that is nearly 100 years old. |
